THE CELLIANT ADVANTAGE
Celliant Viscose differentiates your brand with natural minerals embedded into plant-based fibers to create infrared products that promote local circulation and cell oxygenation while helping keep the body at the right temperature.
Celliant is scientifically tested and clinically proven to improve strength, endurance, speed, stamina, and comfort.
Celliant-powered apparel promotes quicker recovery from physical fatigue.
Celliant-powered mattresses, bedding and sleepwear are scientifically tested to give not only more, but better sleep.
THE POWER OF CELLIANT
Celliant is a proprietary blend of natural minerals that gives any textile-based product the ability to capture and convert body heat into full-spectrum infrared energy, resulting in stronger performance, faster recovery and better sleep.PLAY THE MOVIE
Nature-based Celliant Viscose is certified by FSC® or PEFC™, which guarantees the origin in sustainably managed plantations. In addition, our partner Kelheim Fibres was awarded a green shirt in Canopy's 2020 Hot Button Ranking. This indicates a leadership role in raw material sourcing.
Celliant Viscose provides all the benefits of being a viscose fiber — lightweight, soft, highly breathable, excellent moisture management — as well as fiber enhancements from Celliant infrared technology. Celliant inhibits odor and helps to regulate body temperature. In addition, Celliant is durable and will not wash out, lasting the useful life of the product it powers.
Celliant Viscose has been chosen as finalist in the Fibers and Insulations category for ISPO Textrends Munich 2021 Awards.
BACKED BY SCIENCE
Our Science Advisory Board works with primary investigators to rigorously test and validate the science of infrared and its benefits. This includes experts in the fields of photobiology, nanotechnology, sleep medicine, human physiology, diabetes and wound care. To date, Hologenix has 8 peer-reviewed published studies.
Celliant technology is licensed to our brand partners and we offer the raw materials of Celliant at cost. This reduces the barrier to entry and risk, as well as enabling the lowest possible cost to add Celliant. If you’re interested in learning more about our licensing model, please speak with our representative.
A WORLD-CLASS PARTNERSHIP
Kelheim Fibres, the world-leading manufacturer of specialty viscose, joins Hologenix, inventors of Celliant, to create a sustainable, nature-based intrinsically functionalized Celliant Viscose fiber. Kelheim’s winning formula is their flexible technology that allows targeted interventions in the viscose fiber process. By modifying the fiber’s dimensions or cross-sections or by incorporating additives into the fiber matrix, Kelheim can precisely define the fiber’s properties according to the specific needs of the end product. The production of Celliant Viscose takes place exclusively in Germany, complying with Germany’s strict environmental laws, guaranteeing an overall eco-friendly product.
The combination of Kelheim’s distinctive technology and the functional Celliant additives creates a unique fiber that provides full functionality without the need for any additional processing step — a new standard in the field of sustainable IR viscose fibers.
While we understand the importance and desire for yarn, fabric and garment samples, we would like to highlight that only Celliant Viscose fiber samples are available.
Celliant Viscose fiber can be blended with a vast array of other materials to create an unlimited variety of blended yarns and fabrics. As such, we do not stock or provide fabric swatches for distribution.
Upon engagement with our business development team, we can provide a shortlist of yarn spinners or nonwoven or wet-laid textile manufacturers that have created compliant Celliant Viscose blends (e.g., cotton, modal, merino, cashmere).
Celliant is a medically registered material that requires a controlled and transparent supply chain to protect its efficacy. Testing protocols are enforced.
Celliant Viscose is available in the following fiber types:
- Textile type 1.5D
- Nonwoven type 1.5D
- Nonwoven type 6.0D
- Wool type (for tops)
