As the global landscape for performance, sleep, wellness and medical textiles continues to evolve, Hologenix’s Regulatory Affairs department provides regulatory intelligence to our 60+ brand partners to keep them informed of complex and changing global laws, guidelines, and standards. Our brand partners can access up-to-date information that will assist them with the sales and marketing of regulatory compliant CELLIANT products in different markets around the world.
As CELLIANT’s international footprint continues to expand, we remain focused on ensuring CELLIANT products are safe, compliant and ready to market wherever they’re sold. The following updates highlight our regulatory determinations, patents and trademark achievements and status in 2025.
CELLIANT maintains regulatory status in 54 countries. Of these, 39 classify CELLIANT-powered products as medical devices, while an additional 15 countries have cleared CELLIANT for general market access.
Most recently, we attained medical device registration in Switzerland. This exciting development reflects our ongoing work with global regulatory authorities to ensure CELLIANT aligns with current and emerging regulatory standards. Our goal is always to provide our brand partners with clear and well-supported pathways to global commercialization.
Our intellectual property portfolio continued to expand in 2025. In November, we were granted two new patents (Cellulose and semi-cellulose based fibers and yarns embedded with mineral particles and methods of making the same) in India and Vietnam. Hologenix currently has 14 granted/allowed patents, and 7 pending or published. These patents cover CELLIANT’s core infrared technology and its applications in textiles and agribusiness. Strong patent protection is essential to supporting innovation, maintaining product differentiation and contributing long-term value for our partners.
Safeguarding brand integrity and our intellectual property remains a business priority. CELLIANT currently has 70 registered trademarks in 49 countries, along with 3 published trademarks and 2 pending applications. Our trademark portfolio helps us ensure that licensed products can be marketed consistently and confidently across different regions and categories.
Our Regulatory Affairs team is committed to providing the latest regulations and guidelines, and ensuring we adapt our strategies as needed to protect the safety, credibility and scientific foundation of CELLIANT and our partners who use our technology. The work we do in regulatory affairs, quality control, compliance, patents and trademarks is critical in supporting ongoing innovation and ensuring that our partners can expand into new markets with confidence.
