Celliant Powers the New UA HOVR™ Machina 2 Running Shoe
The UA HOVR™ Machina 2 Running Shoe launched earlier this month and we couldn’t be more excited. This shoe packs so much innovation for better performance, starting with the UA RUSH™ lining that features Celliant for improved endurance. Celliant captures and converts body heat from the foot into infrared energy, increasing local circulation and cellular oxygenation.
“Our long-standing relationship with Under Armour hits new heights with the HOVR™ Machina 2 running shoe,” said Seth Casden, CEO of Hologenix, inventors of Celliant. “I’ve always believed in the power of Celliant to push footwear to the next level of enhanced performance and it’s really exciting to be included in a shoe that features not only Celliant infrared technology but so much innovation. These shoes are really pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and what athletes can expect their footwear to deliver.”
In addition to Celliant infused lining, the HOVR™ Machina 2 coaches you in real-time with connection to UA MapMyRun™, tracking and analyzing your running metrics to help make you a better runner. Then there’s the UA HOVR™ technology that provides ‘zero gravity feel’ to maintain energy return and reduce impact as well as the sprinter-inspired Pebax® propulsion plate that works to increase energy return and deliver more powerful push-offs.
The HOVR™ Machina 2 is working to redefine what a performance shoe can be, and we’re proud Celliant infrared technology is core to the mission of delivering better performance.
