What is OutDoor by ISPO 2023?

OutDoor by ISPO is the subevent of ISPO Munich, where the sports industry has come together for the past 50 years to share the product innovations that will shape the future of sports. Known for being the largest tradeshow event for the sportwear and sporting goods industry, the OutDoor by ISPO subevent first took place in 2019. OutDoor by ISPO 2023 currently offers two days full of new impulses, inspirations and synergies to experience, offering deep insights into socially relevant trends and developments that go beyond the industry itself. This year’s show will focus on health, nature, mobility and urbanity, as well as sustainability.

When is OutDoor by INSPO 2023?
OutDoor by ISPO 2023 will take place from June 4th until June 6th from 9am-6pm at the MOC – Eventcenter Messe in München, Germany. Visitor passes range from 27 to 140 euro, pending business category representation.  549 brands are slated to exhibit in June show, including many world-renowned brands such as Tecnica, Merrell, Adidas and Oakley. We are thrilled to announce that we will have CELLIANT® brand representation at OutDoor by ISPO 2023.

Technology and trends

The textile industry, specifically that which relates to the outdoors and emerging technology, continues to be an ever-growing topic. Many brands are consistently looking for new ways to offer relevant technology and trends into their products. CELLIANT is a clinically demonstrated, bio-responsive textile that harnesses the body’s natural energy and returns it to the body, increasing local circulation and improving cellular oxygenation to support performance and recovery, making it the perfect fit for outdoor brands looking to differentiate their products. CELLIANT can be embedded in yarn, fibers and fabrics, or applied as a printed coating, and is a key ingredient in products from world- class brands such as Under Armour, DFND, XCEL, and KT Tape.

The CELLIANT team is excited to share our award-winning innovations at the show such as our newest carrier offering CELLIANT with REPREVE®, as well as to discuss CELLIANT Print, which allows for the highest percentage of potency of CELLIANT® bioceramic minerals to be applied as a coating on nearly any fabric type.

Ecological and social responsibility

As an ingredient brand, we take pride in partnering with like-minded companies whose sustainability and ethics align with our own. Two examples of these partnerships include CELLIANT Viscose, created in collaboration with the world leaders in specialty natural viscose, Kelhiem Fibres, and our recycled polyester collaboration with Unifi, CELLIANT with REPREVE®.


Nature-based CELLIANT viscose is certified by FSC® or PEFCTM, which guarantees the origin in sustainably managed sources. In addition, our partner Kelheim Fibres was awarded a dark green / green shirt in Canopy’s 2021 Hot Button Ranking. This indicates a leadership role in raw material sourcing.


CELLIANT with REPREVE® combines CELLIANT infrared technology with REPREVE’s rPET sustainable fibers made from recycled plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste in a new solution that is better for you, and better for the earth. Since its launch in fall of 2022, CELLIANT with REPREVE has received multiple distinctions in the ISPO Textrends Awards as well as the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards.
