What is Photobiomodulation and How Does It Work?
February 21, 2025 – Photobiomodulation (PBM), sometimes referred to as low-level light therapy, is a form of light therapy that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared…
At Hologenix, product testing has always been at the heart of our innovation. As the creators of CELLIANT®, a full-spectrum infrared technology rooted in rigorous scientific validation and clinical trials, we understand that credible, data-driven results are essential to everything we do. Our commitment to advancing wellness through science means we’re constantly exploring new ways to deepen our understanding and enhance our materials. That pursuit of continual improvement has led us to adopt a powerful new method of analysis: X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Testing. This cutting-edge technique represents the next step in our ongoing mission to expand and elevate the scientific foundation of CELLIANT.
As CELLIANT, we understand the need for our brand partners to stand fully behind their products. We want both brand partner and end consumer to rest assured that the benefits of CELLIANT are fully encompassed in the merchandise they are buying. Essentially, this means that we need to confirm that CELLIANT’s proprietary minerals have been loaded in the correct amounts to meet our thresholds for quality control.
This was the origin of the CELLIANT testing laboratory, which was developed to support partners with analyzing their CELLIANT-powered product composition. Our team worked to develop a variety of different testing methods, which are deployed at the advice of our testing department depending on product category, application method and more. By employing distinct testing methodologies, we’re able to consistently confirm that every CELLIANT product meets our high standards for scientific credibility and functional performance.
Now, a new testing method has joined the suite of testing methods: X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Testing. As of April 2025, Team CELLIANT is rolling out this brand-new testing method, following a year of testing and evaluation to ensure its validity.
Essentially, XRF works by using a special type of X-ray to analyze the materials in our fabric samples, and identify their precise chemical makeup. The testing is both extremely accurate and extremely quick. The XRF method allows the CELLIANT testing department to complete tests in just 5 days, which is significantly faster than previous methods. Additionally, from lightweight elements such as magnesium to heavier concentrations, XRF accurately measures mineral compositions in fabrics, guaranteeing the presence of CELLIANT in the correct amounts and mineral ratios. XRF Testing is conducted in an independent, 3rd-party laboratory who specializes in this technology and analysis.
Current brand partners will have received correspondence from our testing department about our roll-out of XRF testing. However, if you have specific questions about this, you can email testing@celliant.com to learn more.
