Let’s learn more about The Woolmark company, CELLIANT’s wool innovations and partnerships, and dive into some of the top wool trends we can expect for the Autumn/Winter 2024-2025 season.

MERINO WOOL & THE WOOLMARK COMPANY

The Woolmark Company is a not-for-profit organization that works with Australia’s woolgrowers to research, develop and certify Australian wool. They focus on:

They have become the global authority on Merino wool and the logo has become synonymous with quality Merino wool— a fiber known for its next-to-skin softness, strength, versatility, technical benefits and circularity. Merino wool is a versatile fiber creating everything from luxury fashion to high-performance activewear, accessories, homewares and more.

WHAT IS A WOOLMARK CERTIFIED SUPPLIER?

A Woolmark Certified Supplier is a supplier that has passed Woolmark’s rigorous test protocols through independent authorized laboratories, ensuring they meet Woolmark Specifications.

At CELLIANT, we strongly believe in validation and independent vetting, as shown by our commitment to our science advisory board, peer-reviewed studies, and our work with regulatory bodies in various countries including the U.S

To that end, we are proud to say that we are also a Woolmark Certified Supplier, and are pleased to work with partners who take their certification commitments seriously.

WHAT IS THE WOOL LAB BY WOOLMARK?

The Wool Lab is a seasonal sourcing guide of swatch books that The Woolmark Company publishes to help promote innovations and suppliers that utilize Australian wool. As the authority on wool, they know that the textile sourcing world is looking to them for inspiration and to highlight the top trends each year.

The swatch books are artfully arranged around each trend and distributed both as physical books and as a digital library.

WHAT ARE THE TRENDS FOR F/W 2024-2025?

Let’s take a look at Woolmark’s wool trends for 2024-2025 collections.

SPORT COMMUNITIES

Sports is competition—the goal is constant improvement. Move faster. Be stronger. Climb higher. This extends, of course, to the apparel and accessories of the sport community. With emerging technologies and new ways to create, Merino wool elevates how people exercise.

At CELLIANT we believe, as Woolmark does, in the power of textile innovation to improve human performance. And athletes, in their pursuit of being the best they can be, know that every advantage counts. CELLIANT full spectrum infrared technology is scientifically tested and clinically demonstrated to give athletes more strength, endurance, speed and stamina.

YOUTHFORMAL

Youthformal is the courage and irreverence to evolve traditional formal wear for a new generation. Formal attire mixes with casual, relaxed modern elegance. With the youth, personal style is paramount—take the elements of seemingly disparate styles and wear them with sophistication as long as they represent you. Still, trends emerge: oversized, voluminous sweaters and classic trousers, all injected with sports flair.

Perhaps the desire for sports and athletic appearance is an embracing of a healthy lifestyle. That no matter the occasion, symbols of being active and taking care of our bodies are never out of place. CELLIANT infrared technology brings this idea of self-care out of the symbolic and into the fabric itself, increasing local circulation and speeding recovery.

IN-SPACES

The In-Spaces trends are all about the connection between our interior spaces, our refuge from the world, and our comfortable ease as shown through our easy-to-wear clothes. The rather poetic categories of the In-Spaces trend are:
