INTERIOR DESIGN BEST OF YEAR 2022 AWARDS

If you have been following along with CELLIANT’s journey over the past few years, you may know that in October of 2021, we launched an infrared performance fabric with our partners at Crypton, marrying their easy-care fabric technology with our own self-care textile innovation, in the first woven upholstery fabric with CELLIANT infrared technology.

Then, in 2022, we took our Crypton CELLIANT partnership a step further with the development of the Wellness Textures collection, delivering the first home fabrics for well-being. This collaboration would not have been possible without Kravet, the industry leader in the to the trade home furnishings industry, the exclusive retailer of the Wellness Textures collection.
And, just this week, we are able to announce an exciting new chapter in the partnership story, which is that the Wellness Textures collection has been named a finalist in the Interior Design Best of Year 2022 Awards! Read on to learn more about these prestigious interior design awards and the publication that hosts them.

WHAT IS THE WELLNESS TEXTURES COLLECTION?

The Wellness Textures collection consists of 38 residential interior fabrics embedded with CELLIANT and Crypton technologies. The beauty of this luxury upholstery line is that it provides self-care benefits, allowing any room to become a wellness room simply by including the collection as part of your home fabrics selection. ABOUT INTERIOR DESIGN MAGAZINE

The Wellness Textures Collection soon caught the attention of Interior Design Magazine. Since 1932, Interior Design Magazine has been a staple circulated within the global design industry, publishing news and trends related to architecture and design from residential places to hospitality spaces. The magazine boasts a gorgeous monthly print issue as well as a robust online website and inspirational social media feeds. In particular, readers and followers gravitate toward the January issue each year which features the winners from the infamous Best of Year awards.

WHAT ARE THE BEST OF YEAR INTERIOR DESIGN AWARDS?

The Interior Design Best of Year 2022 awards, in their 17th year running, are an annual showcase of both project and products within the interior design community that receive special recognition due to their innovative approach. A number of finalists are selected within a number of designated categories. Then, from the finalists a winner is selected and the awards are given out by Interior Design Magazine editor in chief Cindy Allen at an in-person ceremony in Manhattan. The Interior Design Best of Year 2022 awards take place at Penn1 in Manhattan on Thursday, December 8th, and will be live streamed on DesignTV by parent company Sandow Media.
The Wellness Textures collection is a finalist in the Interior Design Best of Year 2022 Awards for the residential textiles category.
