PERFORMANCE DAYS®—the “functional fabric fair” which launched in 2008, is the first and only event created especially to showcase functional fabrics for sports, workwear and athleisure apparel. The semi-annual trade fair aims to give sports fashion designers, product managers and decision–makers the opportunity to source functional fabrics, membranes, yarns and accessories. Due to its specialization and timing, Performance Days is the hot spot for innovations, trends and new fabrics in activewear.
PERFORMANCE DAYS will take place on October 4th and 5th from 9am-6pm CET at the Messe Müchen located at Am Messeturm 3, 81829, Munch, Germany. The fair is open, free of charge, to trade fair visitors. We are thrilled to announce that for this year’s October edition of PERFORMANCE DAYS, CELLIANT® will be exhibiting. Previous shows have seen over 2,600 visitors and 280 exhibitors, including brands such as UNIFI, 37.5 Technology, Woolmark and Olmetex.
Hologenix’s flagship technology, CELLIANT is honored to be exhibiting alongside other top textile industry movers and shakers at PERFORMANCE DAYS. CELLIANT will be located at booth Z05, hall 5, where exhibitors and attendees will have the opportunity to see the latest innovations in bio-responsive textiles, view samples and sit down with members of the CELLIANT team to further discuss differentiating their brand with CELLIANT’s cutting-edge infrared technology.

CELLIANT has honored the functional fabric category since the brand was brought to fruition, offering brand partners out of the box solutions to incorporate IR technology within their products. As we continuously innovate, we are committed to constantly offering new CELLIANT carriers and applications. We would like to highlight one of our newest products, in partnership with UNIFI, makers of REPREVE®, CELLIANT with REPREVE, is a performance fiber made from recycled materials.
Another recent innovation, the addition of CELLIANT Print. CELLIANT Print allows for minerals to be easily added directly onto the surface of many different fabric types. Additionally, CELLIANT’s printed applications are often more cost-effective than the in-yarn solutions, and are more easily integrated into the supply chain and a supplier’s existing equipment. From small-scale applications like athletic tape to large-scale applications like bedding, CELLIANT can accommodate a range of print projects and is permanent enough to last the useful life of the garment, which has consisted of 50+ washes in mechanical tests.
We will also showcase earlier CELLIANT innovations including our ISPO award-winning pure white CELLIANT as well as CELLIANT Viscose, created in partnership with Kelheim Fibres.
Located in Hall A5, PERFORMANCE DAYS Munich will offer a targeted ‘functional footwear’ area which will consist of footwear brands and a Footwear Forum. While CELLIANT will not be participating at the Footwear Forum, CELLIANT’s powered products do have the ability to capture heat from your feet and convert it into infrared energy, helping improve endurance and keep your feet at the right temperature. From a footwear standpoint, CELLIANT currently has a partnership with Oxeego to create their technical IR socks and TECNICA for their ski boots. Ultimately, we see massive opportunities in the marketplace as it pertains to footwear and IR technology and are excited to have conversations with potential partners in the functional footwear space.
In April of 2022, PERFORMANCE DAYS began their journey to carbon neutrality and began showcase CO2–reducing innovations at their fairs, including Functional Fabric Fair. As of November 2022, PERFORMANCE DAYS has officially been able to indicate the CO2 emissions for each product within their Focus Topic Category, called “The Journey to Carbon Neutrality,” marking a huge step forward for the fashion industry at large. Many fashion brands are switching to these types of sustainability monitoring efforts, to share with consumers and partners their current carbon footprint. CELLIANT is excited to be front and center for these conversations at PERFORMANCE DAYS.
